Current Sage MAS90 Users

1. Can you help us get Sage MAS90 working properly? (back to questions)

   We specialize in helping people get the most from their investment in Sage MAS90. We start with a discussion of the business, then review the setup of Sage MAS90. We meet with the users to answer questions and help them find ways of extracting the information they need.

2. What kind of help do you provide? (back to questions)

   We provide on-site training and support, as well as telephone support. We help resolve error messages, train new users, establish procedures, reconcile the subsidiary modules to the GL, prepare the year end schedules required by accountants, create custom reports to provide the info needed by banks, assist in formatting custom financial statements, and much more.

   We have extensive experience with custom reports using Crystal Reports and FRx, both of which are included with Sage MAS90.

5. We only need phone support, can you help? (back to questions)

   We excel in providing support based on our long term relationship with clients. We establish that relationship with a combination of onsite and phone support. If you don't expect to need any onsite support, we suggest you contact Sage Software and take advantage of their telephone support service.

6. Our users don't have accounting backgrounds. Can you help? (back to questions)

   Yes, we often help teach the basic accounting principles to the users. We've written a training program, TakeCharge! to help them learn. We help them communicate with accountants, teach them to reconcile accounts, and establish appropriate procedures.

1. What geographic locaction do you serve? (back to questions)

   We're located in Palos Verdes. While most of our clients are in the LA and Orange County area, we have no geographic restrictions, and currently support clients in Arizona, Nevada and Tennessee.

2. What are your fees? (back to questions)

   We bill by the hour, with a 2-hour onsite minimum. We charge for ½ travel time. We require a retainer from new clients. Please call to discuss rates.

3. How long have you been in business? (back to questions)

   We've been supporting the users of various accounting packages since 1984 and the users of Sage MAS90 since 1990.

4. Do you provide remote support? (back to questions)

   We provide remote support to current clients on our prepaid support program using a remote control screen sharing tool.

5. Do you offer classroom training? (back to questions)

   We provide training tailored to your specific needs, and develop procedures and processes specific to your organization. We provide custom onsite training, usually for one or two users at a time. We are happy to provide custom onsite classroom training when required. We can recommend several good Authorized Training Centers for standardized Sage MAS90 training. However, we find onsite training using your own data, systems and processes to be more effective. Training happens at all stages of the conversion—the initial discussions, during the software installation, while customizing forms and of course during the data entry. It continues as long as you use the software.

6. Can you customize Sage MAS90? (back to questions)

   We can tailor Sage MAS90 to your requirements, creatively using the options built in to the systems. We also use Microsoft Access linked to Sage MAS90 to provide additional capabilities that aren't built into the software, such as Bills of Lading. We do not modify the Sage MAS90 programs. We can work with Master Developers to modify the software, but rarely suggest it, as the cost of updating the modifications with each new release of Sage MAS90 can be expensive.
